Cannot connect to imap (exchange 2008 server)

What version of eM Client are you using ?, and what version of Windows do you have ?.

Also what is your Incoming mail server settings, Server address, Port and Security policy ?.

Also what mail server are you with ?.

I see too there is the word GSSAPI mentioned in your Log, which “some older mail servers” eg: don’t support the latest eM Client V10 IMAP authentication method (if you are using eM Client V10) and “need a Plain Text String login added to the diagnostic tab of the Account” eg: --force-imap-auth LOGIN or --force-imap-auth PLAIN as in the following thread posts

So your mail server might need an IMAP plain text string and / or SMTP plain text string to work apart from the correct mail server settings.

OVH e-mail pro plan does not work anymore

OVH servers seem to be falsely reporting support for GSSAPI login. In version 9 and earlier, eM Client chose this login only for some specific servers, but in version 10 eM Client supports it for all servers that report they have it. Unfortunately that means that as the server doesn’t really support GSSAPI the authentication fails and you can’t login to the server to get your email. OVH e-mail pro plan does not work anymore

Hello, We have switch for Outlook for few weeks. And it worked immediately. But as my colleague prefer eM Client, I kept looking for a solution. The following screenshots shows our settings that are working well with the last version 10.
