Cannot Connect to Google Workspace

Hi All - I have a google workspace account with a custom domain which I can add to multiple email clients (Apple, Mailmate, etc.) just fine, but em will not connect even after manually configuring the account - any ideas?

You normally just go to “Menu / Accounts” and click “Add account” and follow the wizard setup. Near the end you will get a prompt to allow eM Client access to your Google account. This will setup a Gmail IMAP account as per the eM Client support page below.

If that doesn’t work, update in this thread how far you get up to and with a screenshot of you can.

Note:-:Blank out anything personal.

Thanks @cyberzork - yep, that method worked for two of my one gmail accounts and another gmail/workspace account, but not for the gmail/workspace account which was linked to a domain not purchased from Google.

So are you saying the manual Gmail setup worked ? Is it also an IMAP account?
