Hi,
I just downloaded and installed Emclient yesterday. Two Gmail accounts work great.
But it acts strange with my one POP3 account from AT&T… because it downloads 25 or so emails… sometimes a few more sometimes less, and then it stops and shows an emClient error message indicating that there are connection problems which could be temporary, or due to incorrect settings, and it offers me the chance to check the settings. I do that and when I click on diagnose, it shows a green check mark for both SMTP and POP. So it suggests that things should work OK.
Right now it shows 51 emails have been downloaded (the oldest ones on the server) but no more. Yet I know that server has over 2000 emails on it for the last few years. This is an Ameritech.NET email account established ten years ago.
The email account works great under Outlook and Thunderbird and on my cell phone and on iPad. 995 is the inbound POP port and 465 is the outbound SMTP port in all those cases.
I’m using server names of inbound.att.net and outbound.att.net for POP and SMTP, which is suggested by the AT&T help info (see URL below). Also tried smtp.att.yahoo.com and pop.att.yahoo.com which works great on these other programs and platforms.

I have set it to SSL/TLS special port (legacy) options, which sets it to the correct ports of 995 and 465, but it doesn’t seem to have improved the situation, over the other options.
Thoughts on how to make it so it will download the 2000+ emails ?
Thanks!
Dan
