cannot authenticate towards kerio connect's imap service

i am havin problems to authenticate towards kerio connect (latest) using imap protocol. it makes no difference whether it’s secured or not - i always get an authentication failed message. smtp works fine, by the way.

I have the same problem. The issue lies in the authentication type for that user on the server side.

If the user authenticates using Kerberos in Kerio or if the user is using Kerio’s internal database but has the SHA option on IMAP will not work.

I have same problem with IMAP (using Kerio Connect - Kerberos5 athentificate from AD)

Solved… im disabled CRAM-MD5 a DIGEST-MD5 on Kerio Connect - then is authentification over IMAPs OK
