Hi all,
I’m having trouble adding Sharepoint/OneDrive as a cloud storage provider in settings. Every time I try to add a link to my Sharepoint folder, the settings tab doesn’t update the cloud storage providers list. Furthermore, I didn’t receive any notification or whether I would allow em Client to access my OneDrive/Sharepoint folders. It’s as if the app didn’t recognize my attempt to add a cloud storage provider at all.
Could someone help me figure this out? I removed my personal OneDrive from the cloud storage providers list and can’t bring that back, either.
Thank you!

I haven’t had any experience adding email attachments via a link to SharePoint, but when adding OneDrive as a cloud storage in eM Client, you just add “the main OneDrive root folder” in eM Client Settings and (don’t specify a sub folder).
When you then send an email and attach files from your local hard-disk and then press send, you will then get asked by default if you want to send via One Drive on the popup that appears. When you then “press on OneDrive” in the selection, it uploads your attachments to an “eM Client Attachments” folder in your OneDrive space.
Same with eg: Google Drive, Dropbox etc when sending attachments via Cloud links.
So you don’t normally specify a sub folder when adding in cloud drives in Settings.
I tried your suggestion of not specifying a subfolder, but that doesn’t work either. It does nothing and it still says “no providers set up”.
And when I try to attach a OneDrive file to the email, it just downloads it locally and attaches it to the email.

Ok that is weird that happens.
The only issue I am currently aware of is “with the latest eM Client V10.0.3530 on Mac” in regard with adding cloud drives, is where if you currently try to add One Drive or Google Drive etc for cloud attachments in Settings, it fails to add. So if you have a Mac and that same version, then that will be fixed in a later version hopefully not far away.
However if your eM Client Win or Mac version adds One Drive into eM Client Cloud attachments in settings ok, I would then suggest if you have a current active Pro or Personal version, to go to the following eM Client VIP support page and login at the top left and create a support ticket. And assigned engineer will then assist you with that.
Now if you use a free eM Client version and don’t have a paid Pro or Personal version, then hopefully some other forum users can help you further.
