Can’t Delete Calendar

I have a calendar showing in eM Client. It was originally created in Google Calendar, but when I deleted it from Google Calendar it was not deleted from eM Client. All my other calendar apps deleted it without issue. eM Client will not allow me to manually delete this calendar as it says it is read-only. It also gives me a continuous error message when I am syncing accounts. How can I delete this calendar?

eM Client will not allow me to manually delete this calendar as it says it is read only.

Yes normally removed online Google calendars will automatically remove in eM Client “when it’s closed and reopened” & resyncs.

As it hasn’t, then suggest (if you haven’t already tried), to go to “Menu / Accounts” and remove the actual Gmail account, which should then remove the calendar, contacts & tasks too.

Then just readd your account again “via the automatic wizard” and the optional online Gmail calendar should be gone when it reloads.

Alternatively you could “right click on your Calendar” under your Gmail account in eM Client and then click “Properties” at the bottom. Then click the Repair tab at the top & click “Repair”. That will then clear the local calendar cache and resyncs your online calendar to eM Client.

Now if removing and readding your Gmail account makes no difference and repairing the calendar also makes no difference, then could be your eM Client version might updating to a later version, depending on what version you have already. You can see all the latest versions via the release history page.

If you do update to a later version make a manual backup first via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via clicking the drop-down on the right of Refresh. Also close eM Client before updating.

Lastly if you already have the latest version or updating eM Client made no difference, then try “uninstalling and reinstalling eM Client” and see if that fixes the calendar problem. If you have Windows “don’t delete the database” when asked on the uninstall wizard. Then re-download & install.

Thank you for your assistance. Deleting the Google account and adding it back worked.
