I have em mail client android. I have about 12 emails i can not delete. what is the issue in deleting them?
Could be the local eM Client app cache is a bit corrupted.
Hold your finger on the specific mail folder with the emails you can’t delete and click “Properties”. Then scroll down the bottom and click “Repair”. This clears the local app cache completely.
Note:- If its a Gmail account, press on the “All Mail” folder.
Then once repaired, close eM Client and reopen the app and see if you can then delete those emails or if they are now gone.
Now if repairing the local app cache makes no difference, then if you have an IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud (Non POP) account, suggest to next remove and re-add your account.
Note:- If you use eM Client for desktop you can use the “QR Export” option via the menu to resetup the app automatically rather than manually re-setting it up directly on the app.
Lastly if removing and re-adding your account still won’t let you delete those emails, you would have to remove the account and uninstall the app and then reinstall the app & re-setup again.
