Can eM Client join an LDAP server?

Can eM Client’s Contacts use a shared LDAP directory and if so, how would that be configured or joined in the client?

No, currently it can’t. We only support CardDAV access to address books.

i have a linux exchange server and I have LDAP on it. I would like to know what is CardDAV and how can I implement a CardDAV on my mail server or a Domain server so that I can configure the same on my emclient

The answer “no … eMclient cannot use somebody else’s LDAP directory” was provided in 2010.

Has this changed by 2022?
