Can 2 versions be installed at once

Hi,

I have version 8 installed and want to go back to version 7. I know the databases are not compatible and the recommended way to downgrade is to uninstall 8 and install 7.

My question is can I have both 7 & 8 installed on the one PC, and if so are there any special steps I must take.

Based on my reading, you cannot have both V7 and V8 installed at the same time. It is one or the other. Sorry.

I haven’t tried their suggestion yet but when I asked EMC support they suggested I try setting up a new user in Windows 10 and installing it there. They hadn’t tried it and I haven’t had time yet.
