My calendar is generating errors. I get this error every few minutes; 3:55:39 PM MailClient.Storage.Application.OperationException: Synchronizing folder ‘Dave and Teresa’s calendar/’ failed due to the following error: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable. —> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable.
Me too.
Me too. I updated EM Client to version 7.0.26482.0, but I still get the error when syncing my hotmail.ca calendar.
Hello Ben,
it is possible that you cannot synchronize your calendar using the Mail protocol you have set up, since Microsoft is moving its accounts to Exchange.
Please try to disable your current Hotmail setup and try to set it up as a New account using Exchange and see if that solves the issue.

Olivia
I’ve got a similar problem, and every so often all my calendar and contact details disappear (they do come back, presumably when emClient next makes a successful connection. I set things up using a [email protected] address in the automated setup - this is my Microsoft account, which I use for Windows 10, and holds my contact and calendar data. I’ve tried using the same credentials to set up an Exchange mail account, but it doesn’t move beyond the first screen (checking server configuration etc). Am I supposed to have a different set of credentials to use Exchange (I’m not about to take out a 360 subscription)?
Hello Paul,
this has nothing to do with the 365 subscription, Microsoft is moving all their outlook accounts to an Exchange solution. They are only doing it step by step and not all at once, so sometimes the AirSync protocol for Calendar and Contacts are still wonky, but your account hasn’t been changed to Exchange yet.
This is unfortunately nothing we can solve at this moment, we’re sorry for any trouble. Microsoft claims to have all accounts moved by August, so you’ll need to wait.

Olivia
Thanks Olivia - I can be patient… in the meantime I switched off the notifications for failed connections, which reduced the irritation a little bit. So will things switch over automatically when Microsoft moves me over, or will I need to reconnect as an Exchange client? (I’m otherwise pretty happy with the new version).
Hello Paul,
unfortunately you will need to set up your account as Exchange manually.
Regards,
Olivia
