When I run emclient on two Windows 11 machines, the calendar fails to sync on a M365 (Family) account, which results in the calendar entries disappearing on both machines. They will only return when I close emclient on one of the machines. I’ve raised a ticket with this issue and have had considerable engagement with the helpful support team, however they are unable to solve the problem. Their latest email to me states:
“The Microsoft server is failing in two ways. In one case the server stops the process without giving a proper response. In another, it tells us the sync key is not valid. Even when we request a new key and use it right away, the server still rejects it. After three failed attempts the sync has to stop. I’m really sorry, but since the server is not giving valid responses, eM Client has no way to continue the synchronization.”
I have pointed out that this issue does not occur when running two (or more) copies of Outlook.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? … and found a solution - or is it a bug?
It is important to me to find a solution as I frequently run emclient simultaneously on my desktop and laptop Windows 11 machines. The machines have reasonable specs e.g. Lenovo Thinkpad and HP desktop, both with 16G Ram.
I have also just tried installing and running emclient on my Android mobile and the same thing happens. Again, there is no problem with running Outlook on the Android and laptop/desktop.
It is such a shame about this as I love emclient and much prefer it to Outlook. It is the only problem I have with it.
