Calendar Events Export. I’m having trouble with exporting calendar events to a remote drive again. Says it’s saving, but it doesn’t save to the drive I specified. You were able to help me a few months ago with a similar problem, but the link you gave for the setup.ini will not work now. It says that I have a later version already installed. Can you help me please? Thanks!
Hi Sandra,
I’m afraid this is a different issue, and the fix that was in that older version is already included in your current one.
I’ll need more information about your current problem.
Is there any error pop up? Can you copy the content of the Tools > Operations window’s Log tab after you try an export of an event? What account is this problem happening on?
Best regards,
Olivia
Hi Olivia! I’ll do my best to copy what you need at the end of this message. The problem is: I export my calendar events to a remote drive whenever I make a change to it. Then I import it to Google Calendar so it will sync with my TracPhone calendar. On Nov. 1st I exported the events as usual (it seemed to do fine, no error reports), but when I went to import from Google Calendar all’s I could find is an old scheduled events.ics. Tried it several more times, but still have the old dated file. Oh, the account is fergie@ritt******.com. I didn’t want to publish that email address for everyone to see. Now I’m going to attempt to copy the information you needed here: Nope, couldn’t figure out how to do it. Wouldn’t let me highlight, copy, & paste. If you could give me more information on how to do that, I’ll try it. Thank you!
You need to click inside the log tab and hold Ctrl and ‘A’, and then copy using Ctrl ‘C’, paste with Ctrl ‘V’.
Is the account set up as an IMAP/POP/Other?
It’s a POP account.

Thought it was fixed, but it wasn’t. Hope this is what you needed me to copy. Thanks, Olivia.
Hello Sandra,
can you describe how exactly you export the calendar from eM Client?
Best regards,
Olivia
File - Export - Export Events to .ics files - Next - check box in front of Local Folders - Next - Export all events into a single file - Browse - when the Save As window comes up I choose my USB Drive . The file name scheduled items.ics automatically appears in the file name box. Click Save - Confirm Save box appears - Click Yes - Click Finish - Click Yes to replace File already exists. Box appears with The Export was completed etc. - Click OK
I probably picked the hardest way to do that, but it’s been working (mostly) for the past year.
Hi Sandra,
please can you try if it works if you export somewhere to your local drive? Like to the Documents folder, for example? Maybe there isn’t enough free space on your remove drive?
Best regards,
Olivia
