I run EmClient on two conmputers. On one when I turn it on it shows Mail and Contacts but no calendar tab. In centre of screen an error says: this folder contains no items and no operation can be performed. On the right agenda shows my calendar events.
Hi, can you please make a screenshot of the error you’re seeing?
Also if you right click any of the items in the left sidebar, you should be to select which items you want to see there.
Thank you,
Paul.
Hi,
I suddenly lost all of my contact, tasks, and calendar. Somehow it will autofill my email addresses from gmail even though nothing shows up in my contact list.
I think this has something to do with Windows 7 locking down my folders. I was able to uninstall, delete the folders and then reinstall and import my calendars and contacts. Wonderful - I love this program, oops, where did the calendar go? Where did the contacts go?
Back to as the pics above.
What folders do I need to take ownership / give myself permission? I have reset / reclaimed C:\program files (x86)\eM Client as well as C:\users"me"\AppData\Roaming\eM Client
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think I will like this as a Thunderbird replacment IF I can get it to work.
Hi, can you please tell me what version of eM Client are you currently using? You should be able to see the exact number version in Help > About.
Also eM Client’s database files and basically all the content is based in the App Data folder that you’ve already found.
Thank you,
Paul.
I’m having the same problem on Windows 8 Pro. Both my calendar and contacts are gone for some reason. All my emails are there but for some reason it says “This folder contains no items and no operation can be performed.” What can I do!
Hi Andrew, this is because you have no folder selected. You have to unfold your account and display the folders such as Inbox, Trash and all your other folders, click on one of your folders and your emails saved within that folder will be displayed. Or you can also use Smart folders to view your emails.
Hope this helps,
Paul.
