I am running emclient 6.0.21372.0 on yahoo mail server. I am located in the Eastern US time zone, and I have verified that my windows and mail server are both set to the correct time zone. Any appointment created in calendar is automatically changed to the American/Aitikokan time zone. When I try to go back and modify the time zone of the appointment to US Eastern and hit save, it is correct for a few seconds, but then changes itself back to American/Atikokan(1 hour later).
Hi Roger, thank you for reporting this, we will be looking into this issue, however I’m afraid this is more likely a Yahoo calendar issue, as setting up any of the existing timezone settings for calendar events will after synchronization with the server return a different Timezone ID, no matter if the timezone is or isn’t correctly setup on the computer or your server.
Seems like Yahoo has created a special set of Timezones just for their own use. I’ll check back with you as soon as we get some more information about why this occurs.
