CalDAV synch with an Open XChange server

Hi,

We are experiencing some problem to synchronize calendars in EM Client with our Open XChange server.
Whatever we try, this error message appears :

![](https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/s3_images/1288958/RackMultipart20151007-11024-1fghw4f-Capture_d cran_2015-10-07_ 09.12.22_inline.png?1444202195 “Image https//d2r1vs3d9006apcloudfrontnet/s3_images/1288958/RackMultipart20151007-11024-1fghw4f-Capture_d__cran_2015-10-07___091222_inlinepng1444202195”)

We tried different settings for the account : http, https, direct link to the agenda (i.e https://ox.mydomain.com/caldav/32 ). Even with a voluntary wrong password we get the same error. Seems like the client cannot communicate properly with the server. Any idea ?

For the record, it works fine with Lightning / Thunderbird.
Thanks for your support.

Hi L,
Can you please copy the contents of the Log tab for me? It should be in Tools > Operation > Log tab.
Please also include which release of eM Client you’re currently running.

Best regards,
Olivia

Could you please actually copy and paste the text? Im unable to read it from the screen, the font is too small.

Thank you and regards,
Olivia

Hello,
I’ll need more information, so I’ll ask you to turn on CalDAV logging.

Go to Tools > Settings > Advanced and under your account check the CalDAV/CardDAV box.
Restart eM Client.
After this error pops up again, go to the Advanced settings again and press “Send logs…”, in the body of the message put link to this forum thread, but change the recipient to me ([email protected]).

Best regards,
Olivia

Hi,

message sent. I had a look on logs, seems to be related with an Apache / Propfind problem.

Hi,
I tried accessing the server directly through the browser and even with variations of the number your domain from the logs doesn’t seem to be accessible. Could it be that the url of the server changed or you’re using different one? Can you access the server over browser or webmail service?

Best regards,
Olivia

Hi,

Sorry but you can’t access to this server from the web. Only internal use for now.
Yes it works fine from the webmail, also from Mac OSX with Calendar or Windows with Thunderbird / Lightning combo.

L.
