I use emClient with an account from the German provider mailbox.org. I have a calendar there that syncs normally. There is also a calendar that contains the birthdays of my contacts. This calendar is read-only, i.e. you are not allowed to write to it. But now emClient picks it up and I always get an error message saying that I am not allowed to upload elements because the server returns ‘Forbidden’.
Can I set this calendar to read-only or prevent this error message from always appearing? I don’t want to switch off CalDAV completely.
tahnks for your reply. Did you adjust anything in the configuration? I set up the mailbox account via the wizard and 2 calendars were “installed” with it. The personal calendar and the birthdays calendar. And for the latter I got dozens of messages that items could not be uploaded. I can ignore these and delete the local elements. And this happens every time I start the program.
I also use mailbox.org and have the same problem with the birthday calendar. eM Client (latest version) obviously does not recognize the “read-only” status of this calendar.
Well, same issue here. I connect to my Nextcloud instance via CalDAV and CardDAV. Starting emClient pops up with a dialog that says, that uploading the element (name of a contact) went wrong.
Server answered with error: not found
The target folder is Nextcloud/Geburtstage von Kontakten
After activating the checkbox “apply action for all problems during this synchronization” and clicking IGNORE, the synchronization goes on without further errors.
The DELETE button is not a solution because the contact is then permanently deleted from the calendar (also for the following years)
The procedure described there does not change anything for me with the birthday calendar from mailbox.org (OpenXchange). The message continues to appear every time I start the program.
