CalDav setting "use client for scheduling"

Hello,
the setting is not explained in the “Help section” - so what does it mean ?

Most of the CalDAV servers handles scheduling of the meetings (sending invitation), however there are some that can’t handle scheduling well and therefore is this checkbox to let eM Client do all the scheduling processing on the client (ie. sending invitations etc).
