CalDav: Account sending invitations?

I have setup several accounts in eM Client:

  • personal email account (SMTP/IMAP)
  • professional email account (SMTP/IMAP)
  • calendar account (CalDAV) with several calendars (e.g. personal, professional, family, …)

CalDAV is operated on Synology. As Synology does not handle sending out invitations the invitation handling has to be done on eM client. Therefore, in the CalDAV account the “use Client for invitation handling” (might be named differently, translated it from German version) check mark is set.

What wents wrong:

  • I am creating an appointment in the my CalDAV account (in my professional calendar) including external client’s addresses (whom I want to invite)
  • I am saving the new item, eM Client is asking if it shoud send an invitation
  • I chose “Yes, send the invitation”
  • The invitation is sent by my PRIVATE email account - not asking from which account the invitation should been sent from.

How can I change the account such an invitation is sent from (ideally, based on the specific calendar on my CalDAV account - or, if not possible, manually)?

Hi, I have the same problem.
proffesional - IMAP
private - Google
Calendar - Synology CalDAV

Invitations are being sent by Gmail account out of nowhere.
At first I thought that the position on the list counts (the first account sends invitations), but no matter in what order I put it, the result is the same…
