Bullet points can't get rid of

As a computer technician for over 20 years I cannot for the life of me work out how to remove the pullet points in a list that I pasted into emclient email

The back space doesn’t work
I press enter hoping that it removes it - that doesn’t work
The only way that i can do it, is to change it to a number bull and then when i turn it off it goes away

To remove Bullets and Numbering, press either Undo or Press the Bullets or Numbering icons". The below icons are toggle icons to enable or disable whatever you had selected.
