After four PST crashes in 3 years, I’ve had it with Outlook. I’ve tried several other clients but they just aren’t what I’m looking for. I tried eM a year or so ago–had same problem then I’m having now.

eM installs okay but it times out trying to connect to my mail server. I don’t have this issue with any other email client.

Juraj Micek suggested I add eM to exceptions in my AV and firewall. I did that. Still won’t connect. I even temporarily disabled my AV and firewall. Still times out. Juraj then went silent.

Anyone have any suggestions?

What is your mail server and mail server settings ?

Juraj eventually came back online and gave me a simple fix. Now that it’s working I can do a proper eval to see if eM is right for me.
