Birthdays no longer show in calendar (Gmail)

Birthdays from my Gmail contacts stopped being displayed in emClient’s calendar. However, they are displayed fine in other apps such as my Google calendars, both online and on my Android phone, and on a third-party app on Android (Business Calendar). I installed Thunderbird (Desktop-Win11) for testing purposes. UI is still awful but birthdays show just fine.

Is this a known/recent issue or am I missing something? Nothing has been modified in emClient settings (email, events, and contacts work exactly as they should).

Your help would be appreciated. Using v.9.2.2307 Pro
TIA

Google Birthdays in eM Client stopped working in Dec 2024 due to Google changes with events, and will now be reintroduced again in eM Client 11

Thank you @cyberzork but they were working few days ago. I’ve been working with birthdays in eM Client calendar since early releases of version 8. Early this week I formatted my laptop and reinstalled my apps only to notice that eM Client was working as expected and synching perfectly for email, calendar events, and contacts, but it stopped displaying birthdays.

BTW birthdays show just fine in other third-party email software and apps (in my case: Thunderbird on Win11, Business Calendar app on Android phone).

I’m really puzzled..

Edit: I upgraded to V10. It didn’t fix the problem.

Other apps have been updated to support the Google event changes to allow Birthdays to work.

V10 doesn’t have the updates and as per the support documentation link above where displaying Birthdays won’t be reintroduced till V11.

You much have been lucky they were working a few days ago with an older version of eM Client as mine haven’t worked since end of 2024. You might have possibly had some other eg: Local Birthdays enabled in your events. Dunno.

Thank you for your time, @cyberzork. I understand now. I guess I’ll have to wait for V11.
And no, I had no Local Birthdays (or any other database locally).
Have a nice weekend!
