Bigpond email problem

I use EM client free with bigpond.com as the mail server. For the last month or more, old emails keep disappearing from my inbox, then magically get downloaded again. I can see on Telstra’s web page that there is an email problem, but it doesnt sound like mine Is there anyway I can check the integrity of the EM Client database just to eliminate Em Client as a possible part of the problem?

If you login to Bigpond webmail are they allways there ?

Also have you configured IMAP or POP account setup in EM Client ?
