On many emails sent I bcc myself but do not receive a copy in my in box. Just now I sent three test messages to myself and did not receive … they were in my sent box. Thank you for your assistance.
I just tested this a few minutes ago and it worked as it should.

Sending emails to yourself is not a reliable way to test. Sometimes servers will also move it to spam because having the same sender and recipient address is a method commonly used by spammers.
But whatever the case, after you have sent an email there is a copy in your Sent folder, so there is no need to have it duplicated in your Inbox. Why do you BCC yourself?
