A few weeks ago I changed my backup frequency to 24 hours so I could check something. A day or two later I changed it to every two weeks which is what I want but it still continues to back up every day. Any ideas on why it continues to backup daily even though it says “two weeks” for the frequency?

1./ Disable Backup in eMC completely
2./ Go to Windows “Task Scheduler” then “Task Scheduler Library”
3./ In middle window DELETE eMC
4./ Go back to Backup in eMC and add settings you require
5./ This will create a new entry in “Task Scheduler Library”

Hi there - I tried this and it did not work. I followed your instructions precisely but it appears tha eM Client is failing to create a new entry in the Task Scheduler Library. Any other ideas?
I tried something else and it looks like it worked so I am posting it here for others. I disabled automatic backup, shut down eM Client and then rebooted my computer. I then enabled automatic backup and an entry was created in Task Scheduler. The entry was “disabled” (no idea why) but I enabled it.

Strange, please try thy following:
1./ Shut down eMC
2./ Re6tamarind9oot your PC
3./ Start eMC
4./ Check the Backup settings
5./ Run Backup manually )Menu>Backup)
6 Check for entry in Task Manager
