OK, I have my weekly backups and I can see the zip files but those zip files are full of .dat files.
How do I backup all the emails from only one specific account for viewing in the future?
The backup is a complete snapshot of the database. You can’t backup just some data, sorry.
If you want to keep just selected data outside the database, you could export it using Menu > File > Export. You will need to do it manually though.
Excuse my language, but WOW, that sucks… everyday eM is proving to be further and further away from an Outlook replacement. At this point the ONLY reason I keep using it is the unified Inbox, the absolute ONLY thing that Outlook lacks to dominate the game entirely.
