backup doesn't work.

hi, my backup doesn’t work, each time I try to set it in the settings menu (backup) and then press ok, the following message appears:
— Errore — Modifica del backup di eM Client fallita per il motivo: Accesso negato. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)).

Hi Angelo,
are you using the automatic backup or the manual backup from File > Backup?
What version of eM client are you currently using? Can you please make a screenshot of the error and post it here on the forum?

Hi again Angelo, do you have administrator rights on the account you’re trying to perform backup on?
Do you permission to write into the backup folder? Maybe try to run the backup to save the backup on your desktop.

the last folder I tried to backup on was the desktop folder…

anyway I have complete access to the backup folder…

Hi Paul, I noticed that EM Client was installed with an old profile of mine and I am working with a new one. Although those have both administrator rights, I will try to disinstall and reinstall EmClient, will let you know if this will solve.
