I have an idea for a new feature: in addition to upload an own image when adding or updating a contact, it would be useful to have the option to add an image from the sources you use as avatar database.
I have the behavior of the favicon download plugin of KeePass in mind.

We already do that by searching sites like Gravatar, Google as well as looking at favicons from domains.
It should be enabled by default, but check you have not disabled the option:

I just looked at this…maybe I am doing something wrong.
What I meant to do is to add the funcionality to download an avatar here:
If the contact has an online avatar, it will automatically download and display it. There is nothing you have to do.
