How do I stop EM Client from automatically opening the next message when I close the previous one? I want to be able to chose which message to read next.
We are still waiting for any official reply to this question that has been asked a couple times now. It is VERY annoying to have it open the next one. Most of the time for me it is a message that I have already read and didn’t need to to be opened again.
It is not possible at the moment but we plan to add an option for this functionality in the future.
But, but (sputter) it only just started doing that after the update a few days ago!!! I hate it-I have to go back and re-mark as unread the ones that it opens.

We changed this behaviour because lot of customers required it. As I wrote above, we will add an option for that in one of the next updates.
Would be interesting to know if that is a minority or majority vote. Should have been an option setting.

Agreed. Something like this should have been an optional setting from the start. I hope they release the update soon as it is rather annoying in it’s current format.
