How do I get the emails on the smtp email server to get deleted after eM downloads the emails to my PC? I am not trying to archive the emails. Once the emails are on my PC, there is no need to keep them on the smtp server. (Similar to what Outlook Express does.)
Hi, with IMAP your emails will be synchronized all the time, so if you will have them in PC they will be on the server and also if you will delete them on the server they will get deleted in your PC.
if you have POP3 then sent emails will not be synchronized and kept on server and device only. Any if you will delete them from device you will still have them on the server.
