Auto Uppercase for first sentence word not working in Android

Until a couple of weeks ago, emclient would always capitalize the first word of a sentence, as determined by double-tap on the spacebar to insert a full-stop and start the new sentence. That no longer works in emclient (10.4.4762)

Auto capitalization does work in Google Keep and the input prompt field for ChatGPT, so it seems to be from emclient itself.

Searching previous posts on this forum suggests there should be a setting in Settings > Mail > Compose, but I can’t see anything regarding capitalization. Maybe it’s been changed in a later version.

Any help appreciated.

I’m seeing exactly the same issue, using a OnePlus 12 with oxygenOS 16

Thanks for the confirmation. I looked for a “bug report” area to post this, but can’t find such a place.
