Is there a way to auto-purge folders? I receive daily calendar notifications by email, and only want to keep them for a day. Is there a way to set auto-purge of the folders, like you can do in Outlook and Thunderbird? I would like anything older than a day to be deleted/purged. If not, maybe there’s some clever workaround, with rules?
Unfortunately Rules in eM Client does not have age criteria. ;-(
Depending on your email provider, you might be able to do that through the web interface for the account. With GMX, I am able to set the retention time per folder. So for some IMAP folders where I store things like forum messages, I set the storage time to 1 week. If I haven’t read it by then, there is probably no point anyway.
