When forwarding or stating a new email, I start typing the name for Auto-Fill to complete. I get 1 or 2 letters and the client hangs. There is a message at the top of the email itself that says “Not Responding”. Eventually it will auto complete, but it will take 4-6 minutes.
what version of eM Client are you currently running? Can you check the full number in Help>About section?
Can you tell me how many contacts do you have? (If you open all contact folders you should seee the count at the top of the program in v 7 or bottom right in v6)
Thank you for getting back to me Olivia. The version number is 7.0.26482.0 and I only have 189 contacts.
do you perhaps also have an offline Adress Book connected to your account?
What mail account do you have set up? Is it Exchange, perhaps?
Currently, I’m only using the Gmail address book. I am not using Exchange.
Not only is auto-fill still very slow (3-6) minutes, now contact search and mail search are very slow. Again, 3-6 minutes. This is painful because it shows at “Not Responding” but if you wait, it will eventually load the contact or find the email in the search.
