Auto close original email window when replying

When reading an email, is it possible to have the original message window automatically close when clicking on the reply, reply all or forward buttons?

This would save the step of needing to close the original message window after replying to an email.

Yes, this is planned for the next major version 6 which is scheduled to be released in 2 months.
