Hi,

Just started test emclient with EWS and must say that i think it works wonderful.

One thing that bothers me are that pictures that are included in signatures appears as attachments, this does not happen in other email clients and are a bit confusing i the message pane.

Are there any settings to avoid this?

Hi, not completely sure what you’re referring to, how did you create the signature in eM Client did you create the signature from scratch in eM Client or did you copy the content into the message from some other destination?

I’m unable to reproduce this, images added to a signature are added as inline images, that should be displayed in the message body, however note the file is still attached to the message so some applications can display the image as attachment, or both, depends on what format the message has been received in.

Paul

I mean message in my inbox from other people, In office Outlook and other clients there are no attchment symbol on the mail even if they have a picture in their signature but there are a symbol in emClient.

I find this a Little confusing when it looks like someone hav sent me a file but its only a inline Picture in the signature when i open the mail.

Hi again, can you maybe make a screenshot of the issue, as I’m unable to reproduce this issue, if I submit a message with an image signature to my eM Client from Outlook, images are not displayed as attachment, and they are added as inline properly.

I’m afraid this might be caused by the formatting of the message you’ve received, if it’s possible do you think you could send us an exported email message you’ve received, right click the message and select “Forward > Forward as attachment” and submit the message to my email, [email protected] with a reference link to this forum topic.

Thank you,
Paul
