Attachment error (format or extension is not valid)

Hi,
I am having frequent issue with “… cannot open the file because of file format or file extension is not valid”. I understand one of the ways we can fix is to repair/rebuild but of course this is not ideal - is there permanent solution for this? I am using 10.3.2622 (9cd48bf) on Mac (Tahoe).

What file format / extension is it that you carnt open and saying not valid ?

Ok well if your happy to try the latest upcoming build V10.3.4341 to see if that fixes the issue, see the following link below for details.

Note: If you do try the latest build version, backup your current version first via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. Also close eM Client before updating.
