App for Ipad not automatically checking email

I have the app on my iphone and Ipad. Both are configured exactly the same within my IOS setting but only my Iphone is receiving pushed mail. On my ipad I have to open the app and have it sync my mail. What do I need to do so that my Ipad will automatically sync my mail like my Iphone is already doing?

(Using eM Client iPad Testflight version)

Press the “Settings Cogwheel” at the top left.

Then “press on your email account” and you will see on the right a “Use Push Notifications” slider.

So just make sure that’s enabled. If it’s already enabled, try disable and re-enable it again

Also make sure in your iPad OS “Settings / Notifications / eM Client app” section that “you have enabled notifications” with eg: Banners, Sounds & Badges or whatever you want there.
