apostrophes not recognized and are replaced with a series of odd characters.

some punctuation marks are not rendered correctly and are replaced by a series o f characters.
Is this a language problem? How can it be corrected?

Hi John, what version of eM Client are you currently using? Can you make a screenshot of the issue and post it here on the forum?

I’m using version 11.0.9600.17358, have a screen grab, but don’t seem able to post it here.

Can you please tell me the exact version number from Help > About? You should be able to upload a screenshot by using the “camera” button while composing a new reply.

Hi again John, unfortunately there’s an issue with Verizon which unfortunately can not be resolved from our side? eM Client did not change any settings regarding your account and it seems like Verizon have made some changes on their server, please make sure you’re using the correct settings, which should be available here:  http://www.verizon.com/Support/Residential/internet/highspeed/email/setup+and+use/questionsone/86782…

And if you’re please contact Verizon support in order to resolve this issue.

But I’ll be happy to take a look at the “apostrophes” issue, if you send me a screenshot of the issue, can you maybe use some common image sharing service to share the picture with us?
