AOL Sent emails

Starting last Friday, my eMclient stopped sending out email via my aol mail, even thought it successfully downloads new emails received to my aol account. It now places emails I write into the Local Folder Outbox, but they do not get sent even when I do a refresh.

If I close the app, it tells me that I have many email in the Outbox and asks if I really want to close the app. What happens to those email if I don close the app and they have not been sent. Do I loose them or do they just remain in the Local Outbox folder?

Go to Menu > Tools > Operations and look for any errors in the Log tab and report here.

I have seen a few posts on differant EMC threads for peeps who couldn’t send email via AOL, and some resolved this by going to eg: “Menu / Accounts” and clicking on the “Diagnostics” tab and clicking “Diagnose”. May help you if Diagnose is available in your account config.

Some accounts have the “Diagnose” button to press under “Diagnostics” and some don’t depending on the type of account.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I closed eMclient and reopened it, and it seems to work now. But I did lose those emails that were left in my Local-Outbox folder .
Seems to work fine now.

If those emails are no longer there in your local outbox, then it normally means the emails have been sent. Check your sent box.
