I am able to get the latest eM Client to install and run under Crossover (v.26.0.0), but activating the license fails. There is no error code, it just does its activation animation and then stop.
Try then Winapps where a user @rammjet successfully ran eM Client with Windows 10 in a virtual box with Linux Mint, See his post below.
