Antivirus Causing Connection Problems

I understand that this is a third party issue. But, if you could help with possible solution.

I am using Avast Antivirus and at most times emClient works just fine. But sometimes it causes connection issues where a red triangle with an exclaimation comes besides some email accounts setup.

This causes those accounts not to send/ receive mails.

I have tried adding emclient in the avast safe applications options but this has not helped. I have to disable the antivirus to use emClient.

A possible suggestion would be great help.
