The answer is YES & NO.
If you are using POP mail there are several similar programs that can be made to work to a greater or lesser degree as they are installed as a buffer between the server and the email client locally- you would need to make your own choice as to which to use
If you are using IMAP there is little point in running an antispam program unless you are able to install the program on your mail server before sync takes place.
