Just putting this here in case anyone has a solution to any of these issues.
- I often get a notification for a new email, which upon opening the app is not there. I know there is a new email so in this case the notification is correct. Even if I refresh the app, no email shows. It may eventually show an hour or so later…
- If there are notifications for new emails and the app is opened and the emails read/deleted/etc. the notifications are still present - as is the count on the app icon. I need to separately delete the notifications
- The same is true if the emails are actioned in the PC application - returning to the mobile the notifications are still present. Within the android app everything is up to date. So again have to manually delete any notifications that are no longer relevant
- I get a notification and icon for each account that received an email. It should be one notification box/icon for all accounts. emClient is retrieving email for 7 email accounts, so I can end up with 7 separate notification icons and entries in the notifications window - each with a list of emails received on the account.
I am guessing that the notifications part of the app is separate from the main app for battery consumption reasons - but they really need to interact with each other way better than currently.
I have also opened a ticket with emClient for these issues.
