I can’t get EM Client on Android to display emails correctly in dark mode.
Below you can see the comparison of EM Client on Windows 11, Android 14 and a Chrome Browser.
As you will see the Android app is displaying some sections of the email with a white background (not dark). The white background is the normal colour for ‘light mode’ rather than the ‘dark’ mode.
Some of the fonts were changed from dark to light colours which means whitetext-on-whitebackground isn’t readable.
No luck either following the guidance in other ‘dark mode’ articles (toggling display in email, clearing cache, resetting app, monitoring operations to ensure complete download etc.)
If toggling to the sun icon (light mode) didn’t display your email, then your email will need to be investigated by way of the .eml file as @Frantisek_Svarc advised above. Can you link an example email to this thread via a eg: cloud drive link if you have a public type email you share ?
If you have & example public email, open the email in the droid app, and then click the 3 vertical dots at the top right and click “save to file”. That will create a .eml in your droid OS downloads folder.
