Android-App randomly unsnoozing a lot of emails.

I use eM-Client since 2018 and immediately installed the Android app when it became available.

Sadly the Snooze doesn’t really work as well as I hoped between Desktop and Android.

Regularly when using the Android-App it unsnoozes roughly 2/3rd of my mails. I can’t identify a pattern as it’s unsnoozing Mails scheduled for next year the same as Mails scheduled for next week.

It also doesn’t relate to the account I received them on or the address which sent the mail.

When I exclusively use one of the two apps (like only using my phone when on Holiday) it doesn’t unsnooze anything if I spend the time to manually snooze all the mails my phone unsnoozed but once I start using both of them at the same time the problems start.

How exactly is the snooze synced between devices? Is there a setting I can change to make it more robust? Is it a problem if my Desktop-App is running while I open my phone-app?

It’s the same for me on iOs - been happenign since the start. Have brought it up several times but no fix.

What version of the Android app are you using ?

10.2.1710
but it’s been like that since I started using it years ago

Ok then try then signing up for the Beta version.

To join the eM Client beta for Android, open eM Client on the Playstore and scroll down to the “Join the beta” section, and click “Join” to be included in the testing program. This will allow you to receive and test the beta version which is currently V10.3.2269

If you still then have problems, email [email protected] for assistance with the Beta.

Note:- The release version on the Playstore is also not far away from reading the threads as well.
