Amazon order emails not rendered properly in 10.3.2412

This is “VIP support”? I clicked that option in eM Client and was pointed here.

Anyway, I updated to 10.3.2412, and now all Amazon order messages look awful. They’re rendered improperly, and completely differently from how the previous version rendered them.

I’m talking about the same messages appearing differently with the only delta being eM Client version.

I actually installed 10.3.2412 a couple weeks ago (using wget) before it hit auto-update and noticed this behavior. Then I reverted to the old version of eM Client, and the Amazon messages looked right again. Then, just now, I stupidly allowed auto-update to install 10.3.2412 again, and the messages were messed up again. All this to say: It really is eM Client doing this.

I’d include screenshots but I don’t want to share them publicly, even with blurring. Also, come on, this has got to be easy to reproduce.

In Outlook werden die Mails hingegen korrekt angezeigt.

If you don’t want to share them publicly on this forum, then if you have a current active paid or pro version, go to the VIP Support page and login and lodge a support request.

Also save one of the Amazon order emails as a .eml via “right click” in the email body and choose “Save As” and “attach that to your Ticket” to be investigated.

Thanks, but that web page uses a dark pattern. There’s a login form (which I didn’t even notice before posting here), but I have no idea how to log in, and it doesn’t provide any info on doing so. Yes, I’m a lifetime paid user.

Edit: I figured it out. Wasn’t particularly easy.

I just got the invitation to update to 10.3.2412, but considering that I get several such Amazon mails every single day, it’s going to have to wait. I look forward to hearing that the issue has been resolved.

Same problem here - I reverted back to the previous version which fixes the issue.

We would need the email source where this issue happens, ideally as EML, until that we won’t be able to diagnose it. It can be sent to [email protected] if you don’t want to post it here publicly.

I opened a ticket and supplied an .EML file there. Thanks.

The Black Plague didn’t kill everyone in Europe. Was it still an issue?

How do you revert, exactly? I just tried, and the installer ran into a hard stop after detecting the newer version.

No way am I doing a full uninstall first, if that’s what it takes.

You really need to do full uninstall first, your data remains intact if you don’t explicitly choose to delete them.

Yep, I uninstalled eM Client then installed the May 22nd release. Release History
