I have update 10.4.4209 (d96494b). Since this update, when I receive an email from a new sender, I have an option to either “Download pictures” or “Always download pictures from this sender”. When I click on “Download pictures” it works for that one email. However, when I click on “Always download pictures from this sender” nothing happens.
Prior to this update, when I would click on “Always download pictures from this sender”, the pictures would be downloaded and the email address from this sender would be added to the “Safe Senders” list, shown in Settings/Mail/Privacy. Now, since nothing happens when I click on “Always download pictures from this sender” I attempt to manually add the email address to the “Safe Senders” list. I am doing that by clicking on “Manage Safe Senders” at Settings/Mail/Privacy. A dialog box opens and I click on “New”. I paste or type in the appropriate email address in the field and click “OK”. When I do that, Em Client immediately crashes.
It would be great to know how to return this function back to normal.
Thank you for checking. Unfortunately, it is still bad for me.
When I received the email notification that you had replied, I clicked on the “Always download pictures from the sender” (which was [email protected]). Nothing happened when I clicked on that link. Then, I copied the email address (again [email protected]) and attempted to paste it into the “safe senders” list under Settings/Mail/Privacy/Manage Safe Senders. As soon as I clicked OK, eM Client crashed.
So, I am not sure what is going on, but even after I completely uninstalled and re-installed eM Client, it is still doing the same thing. (I am currently on version 10.4.4209 (d96494b)
Thanks, unfortunately I do not know why you have this issue.
I have checked again on a different PC and again with no issue’
Both are on Win 11 Prp 25h2 7 eMC 10.4.4209
