As the error says you lost connection with the server, it may be that something is interrupting the connection.

As a test, can you completely disable any anti-virus, firewall, proxy or VPN, then try again.

The problem is still existed after I disable anti-virus and firewall, not using proxy and VPN in my PC. I also had tried re-add mail account before. The connection interrupted looks like only happened in same situation, because I try three times by click “Send and Receive All”, The log looks like all same, just like what I sent before.

My EMClient has the same problem…

Apart from what @Gary already advised further up in his post, if you are getting the same errors in your operations log as the original post at the top of this thread, then try completely powering off and on your modem / router and any internal Lan switches etc if you also have those and also restart your computer and see if that fixes it.

Could be some sort of eg: local Lan IP address or ISP Wan IP address problem that may have gone stale and is causing the connection lost or very slow connection issues failing to your server.

Now if you are getting different errors in your operations log, then post them in this thread, and also post what your incoming mail server settings are and what mailbox providor you are connected to so we can check your settings.

Also what version of eM Client you have and whether you have Windows or Mac & OS version.

Blank out anything personal in your post.

Thanks for your assistance. Here are some of the operations log errors. Sometimes these same servers work perfectly. I have other sites hosted on the same server and they all work – it’s almost always these three that often fail. Thanks for looking this over.

If the mail client only receives sometimes but not other times and you are not running any optional Firewall or optional Antivirus program or VPN, then that usually means your mail server has “some sort of eg: congestion issue” at certain times of the day or night causing the timeouts to occur.

This can sometimes happen with eg: shared mail servers which don’t have enough bandwidth to cope with large amounts of user connections. So it works sometimes but no other times.

Which specific mail servers are they ?

Also what are your incoming mail settings for the accounts that timeout ?

Also what version of eM Client are you running ?

Also do you have Windows or Mac & OS ver ?
