Alter printed calendar event text size and enable wrap-around

The text on the printed calendar doesn’t fit in the date. Can the font be smaller or can I make the text wrap to a second line?
How about changing the background color for each calendar included?

It is not possible because there is only one line for each event dictated by the space available. However, if you print it in day view, the line will extend right across the width of the page, so events with long descriptions will be completely visible.

To change the color of the calendar, right-click on its folder and choose Calendar Color.

On a calendar date with only one event (plenty of space available in that date box) it still truncates to one line so minorly confused.
And I suppose no way to ensmallen (!) the font?
