There are 4 of us in the office and normally each of our names appears as the sender when we send from our individual desktops. Since the latest update, ALL sent mail appears to be coming from one person. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution?
If all your emails sent from your different computers “all show the same senders name”, then go into eM Client “Menu / Accounts” and click on your email account on the left and click the “General Tab” at the top.
You will then see the Name and Email address setup. So if that’s not right correct that and Save accounts. Also if you have more than one account you need to “make one the default email account”, by clicking on the account you want and then clicking “Set as default” along the top.
Note: You can also see any Alias email addresses setup via clicking “Aliases” on the right.
Lastly compose a new mail and “at the top of the compose window” you will then see that default Name and email address which is the name you and the receiver will see when you send mail.
If you have more than one account setup, at the top of the compose window, you can then select which senders name and email address you want via the dropdown arrow at the top of compose.
