I switched from Postbox (on the Mac) 2 years ago (I had to since Postbox went away – great email client, btw) and now EVERY email I send out on my email address shows up in the recipients’ inboxes as being from “emollient” rather than from me… this is driving me nuts. I tried following some directions I saw on the web to put my name in the “NAME” field in the Emclient settings configuration but nothing has worked.
Can someone help? this is super annoying.

EVERY email I send out on my email address shows up in the recipients’ inboxes as being from “emollient” rather than from me.
Go to “Menu / Accounts” and click on your account on the left and click the “General” tab and make sure the Name field is your name,
Also click on “Aliases” text on the far right and if you have an email address in there, click “Edit” and make sure you also have your name.
If that the account name and alias name is correct in eM Client, “then go online to your server webmail” and see if your Sending name and / or any Alias names are correct there too.
